These terms apply to your use of this website and to bookings for the Living the Fatiha Marrakech retreat.
This website and the Living the Fatiha Marrakech retreat are operated by Arif Chandoo. Where “we” or “the operator” is used below, it refers to Arif Chandoo.
You may use this site for personal, non-commercial browsing and to make genuine enquiries or bookings. All content on this site — including text, images, the A.R.I.F. framework and the Living the Fatiha materials — is owned by or licensed to the operator and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute content without permission, except as allowed by law.
We aim to keep the site accurate and up to date but do not warrant that every detail is error-free or uninterrupted. Information about the retreat is general; the confirmed terms of your booking are those agreed at the point of booking.
Sending a message through the Connect form, or expressing interest in coaching, speaking, workshops or the retreat, does not create a booking or a contract. A retreat place is only reserved once your registration and deposit payment are successfully completed and confirmed through the booking process.

The £100 deposit is part of the £500 total, not an additional charge. Payment is taken through the hosted booking form embedded on the retreat page and processed via Stripe; card details are handled by the payment provider and are not collected by this website.
Places are limited to 14 participants. A place is reserved only after a successful deposit payment is confirmed. If the retreat is full, new bookings are disabled.
The £100 deposit and any retreat payments are non-refundable. By proceeding with your booking you acknowledge and accept this.
If the operator needs to change or cancel the retreat, affected participants will be notified, and the options available (for example a refund or alternative dates) will be set out at that time.
To request a change or cancellation, contact the operator through the Connect page.
Flights are not included. You are responsible for arranging your own travel to and from Marrakech, ensuring you have valid travel documents, and obtaining any required visas or travel insurance. Airport transfers are provided at designated times only.
The retreat is for gents only. Full accommodation and room arrangements will be communicated to you upon confirmation of your booking. Airport transfer windows will be confirmed nearer the retreat date.
Participants are expected to take part respectfully and follow any reasonable instructions from the host and venue. The operator may decline to continue to host a participant whose conduct significantly disrupts the retreat.
By registering for the retreat or submitting any form on this website (including the enquiry form, retreat booking form or any other contact form), you consent to Arif Chandoo contacting you about your booking, the retreat and related programme communications. This consent is given by default when you register or submit a form — it is not a separate optional step.
This includes follow-up details about accommodation, transfers, the programme and any practical arrangements connected to your participation, as well as marketing about future events, courses, workshops and offerings. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email, or by asking us to stop. Communications necessary to fulfil your booking will continue until that booking is complete.
Because the retreat combines accommodation, meals, transfers and a programme, it may fall within package-travel regulations depending on how it is sold and who is legally responsible for the different elements. The fact that flights are excluded does not by itself settle this question. Whether package-travel protections apply, and what financial protection or insolvency arrangements are required, should be confirmed with legal advice before live booking opens.
The operator aims to deliver the retreat as described. To the extent allowed by law, the operator’s liability for loss arising from the website or the retreat is limited to the amounts paid by you for the relevant booking. The operator is not responsible for loss caused by your own actions, by third parties not acting on its behalf (such as airlines), or by events outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
